  • Listening: The test measures listening comprehension, including identifying main ideas, inference, and detail, through tasks such as summarizing spoken text, multiple-choice questions, and fill in the blanks.

The PTE test is typically completed in a single three-hour sitting and includes a variety of question types. The test is scored on a scale of 10 to 90 points, with higher scores indicating a higher level of English proficiency. The results of the PTE test are usually available within five working days.
